Project Overview

This condo renovation project was inspired by modern beach living, recreating a friendly, relaxed design in the middle of Toronto. The biggest focus of this renovation was to take the enclosed kitchen and turn it into a large space. How did we accomplish this? We removed the walls around the existing kitchen and completely gutted the entire condo. We helped the client to select new, richer toned flooring that would compliment the light blue MDF kitchen cabinets for a well rounded relaxing beach design. Brainstorming ideas for storage and finding ways to optimize the space was a major part of the renovation project. Our team worked with the client to design custom kitchen cabinets with extra storage solutions and designed a custom vanity for the bathroom. To make the bathroom look brighter and spacious, we focused on selecting light white shades for the vanity, a white quartz countertop and statuario marble backsplash. To bring in the beach warmth, we installed custom wall medicine cabinets with extra storage in mind. And finally, we removed the popcorn ceilings and added a fresh, light paint to the whole condo to make the space appear bigger.
